You have one week to complete the course. You must have a computer laptop, PC, Mac, Google Chromebook to take the class. An Ipad may work but is difficult to use. NO CELL phones to take the class. Please be sure to complete your pre course exams and send a copy of your picture ID to the office. All student documents will be sent to you via DocuSign. Online Personal Care Aide
Individuals who are interested in Personal Care Aide Training will have the opportunity to improve patients’ quality of life and ensure that they receive the best care possible. Our online Personal Care Aide training at Heart to Heart Career Training Center course offers practical training designed to equip personal care aides with the skills needed to be an effective caregiver. Emphasis is placed on recognizing changes in condition, to whom and how to report such changes and accurately document. Skills include skin care, nutrition, fall prevention, home management and more. This is not a State Board of Nursing program. No clinicals are required.
PCA STUDENT REQUIREMENTS:

Must be 18 years or older.

Must be able to read & write English at the level necessary to understand the training manual.

Good manual dexterity & visual acuity.
- Able to lift 50 lbs

Tuition paid in full at registration
This is an online personal care aide course equivilant to a 40 hour class. Passing grade is 80% to receive your Certificate of Completion.
Registration is online and all tuition fees are paid at the time of registration.
Your student registration packet will be emailed to you to complete and return prior to class start date. Please see requirements list for your class.
All students will take the pre-examination assessments prior to their class.
All documents must be completed and signed to attend the course.
Our class is approved for Virginia, other states may accept it. It is the students responsibility to research what their state allows. No refunds will be granted once class has been completed.
